Terms of Use

Last updated: October 17, 2026

These terms cover your use of the ClickBooks website (clickbooks.us) and the ClickBooks channel on Roku. By using them you agree to these terms.

Using ClickBooks

ClickBooks is free to read for personal, family and classroom use. Please don’t misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, overload it, or copy it in bulk.

The books

• Some books, such as A Day at Home, are original ClickBooks works. Please don’t republish them without permission.
• Other books are public-domain picture books from the Library of Congress’s Rare Book collection (see the credits on our support page). The original pictures and wording of those books are in the public domain. The translations, narration, and the way the books are presented on ClickBooks are ours.

Translations and narration

Translations and spoken narration are provided to help people enjoy and learn from the books. They are written and generated with care but may contain mistakes, and older rhymes and stories have been adapted into simple sentences. They are not professional translations.

No warranty

ClickBooks is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss arising from its use.

Roku

Roku is a trademark of Roku, Inc. ClickBooks is an independent channel and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roku, Inc.

Privacy

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use ClickBooks after a change means you accept the updated terms.
