ClickBooks Support

Help for the ClickBooks channel on Roku and the ClickBooks website. ClickBooks is a free picture-book channel: pick a book, read it page by page, and read it in two languages at once (English, Deutsch, Español, Português, Nederlands, Français, Italiano, Dansk, Русский, Tiếng Việt, Ελληνικά, 한국어, 日本語 and 中文).

Troubleshooting

“Could not load books”
The channel needs an internet connection. Check your Roku’s network (Settings → Network), then close and reopen the channel.
Pictures don’t appear
Wait a moment for the page to load; slow connections can take a few seconds. If pages stay blank, reopen the channel.
There’s no sound
Press Fast-forward (>>) to check that the screen says “Sound: on”, then press Play/Pause to replay the page and check your TV volume. The first time you open a page in a language, the narration can take a moment to start.
Text shows as boxes
Please let us know which language and Roku model you are using so we can fix it.

ClickBooks is free for everyone: no ads, no accounts, nothing to buy. It is built and run by one person. Every page you hear read aloud is a small cost, and new books and languages take many hours of translating and checking.

If your family enjoys ClickBooks and you would like to help keep it free and growing, a gift of any size is welcome (grown-ups only, please):

  • PayPal: send to steve.lloyd@gmail.com
  • Venmo: @Steven-Lloyd-15

Donations pay for the narration voices and the extra books and languages. They are not tax-deductible.
